You don’t know where the ball will jump. Our young players did very well in the U20 Women’s football World Cup, but they stayed at the airport for 24 hours before flying back to China, which is unacceptable. After all, the players are playing on behalf of the country.
“The gap is really big. I hope more people will start to talk about these things. When we came to the World Cup, we even didn’t adapt to it, but we did our best because everyone knew what we were undertaking and we only hoped that the team could get more help.”
